Your assignment:

Step 1

  • Read the poem In Flanders Fields and some background information about the poem and its connection to World War I.
  • Answer the questions on the bottom of the page on a separate sheet of paper to be turned in before moving on to Step 2.
  • 5 points


Step 2

  • Find the page titled with your name under your class period's page. [Period 4] [Period 5] [Period 6]
  • Write a poem from the perspective of someone affected by World War I. This can include: a soldier (US/other country), girlfriend/wife of a soldier, US President or other foreign leader, civilian, etc.
  • 20 points


Your wiki page will include:

  • First name and Last Initial
  • Original Poem (if short, write 2)
  • At least three (3) images
